By the way, the end of the world emerging discussed several times recently, especially the presence of film 2012 in the world, very interesting public interest from small children until adults. In infotainments on tv share, it too until getting a conversation with a leader MUI (Majelis Ulama Indonesia) who boycotted the film, because according to him, the film has elements of ethnicity, religion, race, customs or we called it SARA, and of course particularly offensive religious affairs. Because, according to him (again), in the film the people who go to church salvation and the people who were killed in the mosque because the mosque collapsed and shattered. And at the end of the film, there are many people who get salvation after it.
In fact, I don't really know about that because I didn't watch the movie, hehe, because exams a.k.a UTS :(
But I think, when I watched the reviews in some media, it doesn't describe the end of the world but just a big disaster in the world.
Because, firstly, the director of 2012, Roland Emmerich, is a 'disaster director', why did I call it? He was directed many disaster films like The Day After Tomorrow, which also tells about a disaster, a big disaster, a big tsunami in New York. So, the films of him have a strength of mind, imagination I mean. That's cool I think. But, many people assume it is a fact that will happen like in the film 2012. Secondly, if it was described what will happen at the end of the world, why still there are many people who survived the disaster?
So obviously this movie did not provide a description of the end of the world, because the end of the world would have been much much much more sinister than what is portrayed in the movie. There is no reason for us to assume after watching the movie that the end of the world in 2012. Only Allah knows when that day will come.
I think the truth is going to change what we do as human beings before that day comes, not disputed that when the day comes.
